Montgomery County: Kill the ZTA 18-11 on 5G Small Cells Before the Bill KILLS US

Montgomery County citizens are outraged to see that the Montgomery County Council is pushing forward ZTA 18-11, new zoning for wireless facilities in neighborhoods that will allow street lights to go up a full story and cell towers on every block.

The Council put forward amendments on Friday afternoon that simply will not fix this unfortunate ZTA. It was a valiant effort by some, but simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

It is time for the Council to wake up and smell the coffee. These antennas are NOT SAFE for our children. We do not want large industrial equipment boxes along our sidewalks. We do not want streetlights on steroids or utility poles that become Eiffel towers.

We expect our elected leaders to rise to occasions during times like these and do the right thing.

Please take action NOW to voice your concern to the Council.

Without the full set of citizens amendments the ZTA 18-11 is bad news for Montgomery County.
Dear Council- Time to hold your horses and go back to the drawing board. 

VOTE NO on October 23, 2018. 

The Councils proposed amendments are useless and will not help this horrible ZTA.

Please write AND call every Councilperson TODAY Leave a message on their machine over the weekend and fill their inboxes with your thoughts. They need to hear from us!
