The Sign Up is Open for the Montgomery County Council Public Hearing on Cell Towers in Our Front Yards. 

September 25^th Public Hearing on ZTA 18-11. 

 This Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) favors the wireless telecommunications developers. 

If passed by the Council it would :

• Allow short Cell Towers and antennas in front of our homes, on utility poles and streetlamps. 
• Allow (next to these poles cabinets holding the electronic equipment of up to 20 cubic feet in size (so large that a person could stand inside the cabinet), and some of the equipment produces noise and vibrations. 

The Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm EDT
